Thunderbird Resorts (“Thunderbird”) has been operating since 1994.  In our early days, we were a Canadian publicly-traded company that supported Californian tribes to develop and manage their casinos.  Through this business, we developed sector-specific expertise in project financing, turnkey project development and operations.

In 1996, Thunderbird bid and won the privatization of the state-owned casinos in the Republic of Panama, and opened its first Fiesta Casino.  In 2002, we opened our first Salsa’s Bar & Grill, which is now the best known of our F&B products.  In 2005, we opened our first Thunderbird Hotel in the Philippines when we secured licenses to develop, own and operate our first integrated resort anchored by a casino.

In 2007, Thunderbird completed a secondary offering and then listed in 2008 on the NYSE Euronext (see www.euronext.com, trading symbol “tbird”).  The company is domiciled in the British Virgin Islands and is headquartered in the Republic of Panama.

Recently, Thunderbird profitably sold multiple real estate and operating assets via multiple transactions, with the goal of enhancing our balance sheet.  Today, we are deploying our resources into Latin America as our core market, and expanding on our goal to provide great escapes for great communities via our powerful Thunderbird Hotel, Fiesta Casino and Salsa’s Bar & Grill brands.
